duo d’accordéons diatoniques / duo d’acordions diatònics
Marinette Bonnert et Pere Romaní se sont rencontrés à Vienne, ville qui vit naître l’accordéon en 1829. Tout de suite, ils ont du plaisir à jouer ensemble; très vite ils décident de former un groupe et c’était ainsi que nait le duo 21 BOuTONS. Pere et Marinette donnent des concerts et animent des bals dans différents pays d’Europe (Autriche, Belgique, Catalogne, Pays Basque,…). En février 2007, ils donnent un concert au prestigieux Akkordeonfestival et c’est pour eux l’occasion de présenter leur premier cd. 21 BOuTONS propose des musiques traditionelles belges (des anglaises, des schottishs, des valses,…) et catalanes (marxes, jotes, xotis, rumbes,..), trouve son inspiration également dans d’autres répertoires d’accordéon diatonique (basque, français,…) et dans les compositions d’accordéonistes actuels.

Marinette Bonnert (Bèlgica) i Pere Romaní (Catalunya) es van conèixer i es van estrenar com a formació a Viena (curiosament, la ciutat on va néixer l’acordió, el 1829). Des de llavors, han fet concerts i balls en llocs molt diversos: a Àustria, Bèlgica, Catalunya, el País Basc… El febrer de 2007 van actuar al prestigiós Akkordeonfestival de Viena (al costat de figures com Riccardo Tesi o Richard Galliano), i pel futur tenen diverses cites internacionals: Itàlia, Luxemburg, Holanda, França…
El seu repertori conjuga músiques tradicionals de Bèlgica (anglaises, schottisches, chapeloises) i de Catalunya (jotes, xotis, rumbes), i també troba punts de contacte a través d’altres repertoris d’acordió diatònic: basc, francès, de composició…
21 BOuTONS va gravar el seu primer CD el febrer de 2007. La primera presentació precisament a l’Akkordeonfestival de Viena. Després, la música de 21 BOuTONS ha anat voltant per Europa: Bèlgica, Holanda, França, Luxemburg, Itàlia, el País Basc, Catalunya… A l’agenda hi ha les dates actualitzades.

Hi , I really enjoy your style of playing . I was wondering how your accordions are tuned . Are the treble rows tuned in a diatonic scale such as A/D/G or do you play a chromatic system such as C#/D/G . I will be ordering your CD , Very nicely played . Cheers
Thank you very much. Our accordions are tuned in G/C/#, that is, extra sharps and flats are in the innermost row.

Hi, I’m happy to met you (Pere and Marinette) for time last saturday in Frossasco, I’ve enjoyed a lot your accordion style and your dance instruction about. I’ve in my mind nice Menuet de la chaine and La gènèrouse , although I’ve listened to a lot it’s very hard to play them without partitions :-(( , have you planned to sell a partition book ?
You are using just a bit more than 21 boutons ! ou got a 3 row accordion and if you don’t mind it will be welcome to have keyboard layout (especially bass layout) of both accordion, I’m playing a 21 boutons Castagnari G/C model and I’m looking forward for a 2 and 1/2 row or 3 row model, probably a Castagnari one so Marinette’s accordion layout will be better.

I am interested in obtaining an instrument in your G/C/# tuning to play something other than Morris and other English music in D/G. However, as far as I can see the only models in G/C/# in the UK are 30 button old Club melodeons. What make are your melodeons?

Marinette’s is a Castagnari (www.castagnari.com), model Handry 12.
The notes on the 3rd row are customizable, or you should choose one of the “standards”, by Norbert Pignol - Stéphane Milleret, Jean Michel Corgeron - Bruno Letron, etc.
